Abstract

This article presents a comparative research based on several creep models, used in different countries or proposed by certain institutions or authors, as a part of a more extensive investment work about analysis methods for structures composed by rheological materials. Associated relaxation functions and methods to obtain them are also analysed. Finally, a new and easy to use approximated method to get relaxation function from creep function is proposed, which fits better than other methods found in references.
